Will there be a carbon tax on beer. As on fuel.

After consuming a gallon of old knocker or any beer of your choosing i doubt that you'd care about what size it was. If the powers that be see your question it may stir them into a frenzy as a tax they have missed.
Reply:DEPENDS if it is a local brewery
Reply:We have to make our own. Much better idea.
Reply:Ya got em' there didn't you? - my son and I are still laughing - well done!
Reply:if you drink too much, you'll have to worry about your carbon butt print.

also beer consumption leads to "beer farts"

this has recently been proven by scientist to have more effect on the earth than CO2.
Reply:It would depend on the beer.

European or Australian beer, the carbon footprint would be pretty big, but that stuff Americans drink? insignificant.
Reply:Can we get a credit for not eating onions along with the beer? We know that combination produces farts, which appear to be a cause of global warming. "Onion exclusion credits" ?
