How is the luau at Imperial Palace?

We're going to be there in a couple months and I was just wondering if the luau is worth the money. How's the food, the entertainment, etc.?

How is the luau at Imperial Palace?
I went to the luau last year the entertainment was mediocre, they spent half the show singing happy birthday to everyone and congratulating all the newlyweds an anniversary's in the audience. The food was ok, there wasn't anything really "luau" about it, more like a high end backyard BBQ. Seating arrangements were awful they pack you in like sardines, you pretty much had to climb out and over your chair because you were so close to the person behind you. Then you had to get past everyone else in your row to get out. I suggest you save your money and go to Mr. Lucky 24/7 at The Hard Rock Hotel and get the $7.77 steak and shrimp special (not on menu). You will get better food better, service and won't be so crowded.
Reply:Some friends of mine have been and they LOVED it! Check out www.breezybeachwear.com to get items so you'll fit in with the luau crowd! Have fun and bring your camera!
Reply:I went a few years back. I had a really good time, enjoyed the food and had a good time meeting and talking to people from everywhere.
Reply:Skip it. Save your money for the any of the luaus here in Hawai'i. Our luaus are more authentic. Over here, luaus are a way of life. In Las Vegas, luaus are jobs.
Reply:I didn't go to the Luau party but I stayed at the Imperial Palace and wasn't impressed with it.
