Why has the Imperial Washington Media basically stopped covering the Iraq War?

Instead they just parrot whatever Bush says about "the surge working" and "progress is being made" - like it was 2002 and the guy hasn't been lying the whole time.





Could it be there is FINALLY an anti-war candidate who is going to shut down the war machine if he gets elected?

Why has the Imperial Washington Media basically stopped covering the Iraq War?
It doesn't serve their purpose to cover a war and a war policy that is successful.

Every successful war the United States has fought and won there were always pockets of resistance where we had lost hundreds of soldiers until everything has been stabilized and secured.





We lost over 40,000 military personnels in Korean War, over 54,000 in the Vietnam War.





We have never fought an antiseptic war.





In today's age of Iphones and microwave ovens , we seem to expect everything to be done and over with in minutes.
Reply:There is no "anti-war" candidate in the front running that going to shut down the war in Iraq. In fact, none of the candidate are "anti-war." Although some have openly oppose the war in Iraq.





Even the ones who do oppose the war in Iraq like Obama, support a phased-withdrawal.





A phased withdrawal is simply a another way of saying, "We are not leaving any time soon."





No candidate can give a realistic time table on a withdrawal until they are in office and actually have access to all the information needed to make an informed decision. Until then, all the rhetoric means nothing.

know what's funny? congress is investigating a baseball player for steroids.. and doing absolutly nothing about haliburton corruption.. bush corruption election fraud.. etc..
