What were some ways mckinley was an imperial president?

what makes an imperial president?

What were some ways mckinley was an imperial president?
two words: Manifest Destiny. The belief that the world was laid out for the White Man and only for his exploitation gave him the delusion that colonialism and the genocide of Native Americans was a holy right.

imperialism seeks to create an empire, and empires work best when colonies make less money than the heart of the empire, which, ironically, is the same reason why the Americans rebelled against the British. hahah.

funny thing, this history of ours.

also, that second paragraph outlines "mercantilism".

What is the weight of 1986 imperial boat 16 ft , fiber glass?

i have just bought a boat . and i don't know the weight of the boat. Details of the boat:1986 imperial boat 16 ft , fiber glass.

i need the weight of the boat, so i can combine the weight of the trolling motor and hitch receiver. i need the weight because i want to go to the ocean.

What is the weight of 1986 imperial boat 16 ft , fiber glass?
The boat should have a Coast Guard stamp on it, around the driver console. It will have and engine rating, and maximum weight, and curb weight. which is empty. But I would say it weighs around 3000 or more, total. Regardless, If you have a truck, invest in a class III hitch. check the diameter of the receiver on the trailer, It is either an 1'-7/8 or a 2' You'll need to check you trailer weight too. But a class III (3) and you'll be fine. You have a pretty small boat, for going out in the ocean. I have a 19 Grady White Tournament, which is also wider than yours, and I wouldn't venture out too far. I hope you have at least a 150 hp engine. I would invest in a 20' or more to do big open water.

Good luck.

What are some good wakeboard bindings for a Hyperlite Imperial?

I'm thinking about getting a hyperlite imperial 127 cm and want some bindings that are good and easy to get into.

What are some good wakeboard bindings for a Hyperlite Imperial?
The binding needs to be comfortable and snug fit to eliminate heel slip when doing tricks. Most binding will work but you want a good feel. I'd suggest going to a board shop where you can try them out. I'm a little partial to the Liquid Force Alpha's and the new Ronix bindings. Very comfortable and great fit. Worth the extra $$$'s in my opinion.
Reply:I personally like the Vario bindings they have a great immediate response to them and will look cool on any board out there.
Reply:I read that the Foundation is what is recommended for the Hyperlite. Hope this helps...

For you, who has the greatest civilization during the middle ages of europe/imperial period of china?

For you, who has the greatest civilization during the middle ages of europe/imperial period of china? is it europe or china?

For you, who has the greatest civilization during the middle ages of europe/imperial period of china?
European civilisation during the Middle Ages gave us some of the world's most beautiful buildings, the incredible cathedrals like Canterbury, Notre Dame, and Saint Marks in Venice, which are the glory of Europe with their incredibly beautiful and complex stonework, soaring arches, and fantastic stained glass windows. Also the mighty and impressive castles, many of which are still standing.

The medieval era also produced wonderful music, which is still being sung in our churches, and wonderful literature like Dante's Divine Comedy, Bocccacio's Decameron and Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. There was marvellous art work, like the exquisite illuminated manuscripts that were created by monks and nuns. And there were wonderful artists like Giotto,Duccio, Simone Martini, Ambrogio Lorenzetti, Jan Van Eyck, Fra Angelico and the Limbourg Brothers

There were scientific discoveries as well, spectacles were invented in the 13th century for example, and the mechanical clock. and the invention of the printing press in the 15th century was a boon to mankind, leading to a much wider distribution of literature, even though it meant that the exquisite hand-written manuscripts would no longer be produced.

I would not say that European civilisation was necessarily greater than Chinese civilisation at this time, but European civilisation is the one I am more familiar with. And the colourful vibrancy of medieval life is a subject of great fascination to me.

How much is a cab from the Las Vegas airport to the Imperial hotel?

planning a quick trip. the package I'm getting offers transportation between airport and hotel for $12/person, but I hear you have to wait until the shuttle is full before they leave, that the shuttles aren't really on a schedule and that it's preferable to take a cab. Is it worth the while to take a cab to the Imperial?

How much is a cab from the Las Vegas airport to the Imperial hotel?
Cost is about 20 bucks plus tip. You will wait about an hour in line to get a cab. Make sure you tell the driver you want the quickest way and don't take the tunnel. Do not take the scenic route either. If you take the shuttle there will be people that go to other hotels and you may have to ride to those and yours may be the last stop. Either way .. no fast way.
Reply:Take the shuttle.
Reply:here is a list of the cab services call them and ask ?
Reply:take a shuttle. when i stayed at ip, it cost ... i think 6 bucks a person ... much cheaper than a cab. we waited less than 5 minutes for our shuttle to be full..

the shuttles are located right outside the baggage claim area
Reply:Try this Link for the Taxi Cab Authority" website for estimates from the AP.

If your have 2-3 traveling grab the cab. I sometimes take the shuttle from the AP to the hotel. Always take a cab from hotel to the AP. One time I purchased a round trip shuttle ticket and they were a45 minutes late. Waiting outside in 105 degree heat is no pleasure. You also have to plan on a pick to the AP 3- 3 1/2 hours prior to the flight because after you get picked up they sometimes stop at 1-4 other places before heading to the AP. :o(

One trip while waiting for luggage, our party of 3 found another couple going to the Paris. We split the cost of a limo. Was a little more then a cab but we sure enjoyed pulling in to Paris riding in a limo. Besides the taxi line had at least 200+ people waiting in line.
Reply:We just came back from Las Vegas this past weekend but we've travelled to Vegas about twice a year. Depending on when you land and if there is a big event (like a major convention), waiting for a cab can be a few seconds (this last trip took less than 15 seconds to get our cab, no waiting when we arrived) to 20-30 minutes (earlier this year durint the Consumer Electronics Show took about 20 minutes).

Imperial is an older Hotel/Casino but it's close to alot of the main attractions including Caesars Palace/Forum Shopping, Fashion Mall, etc. The monorail has a stop there that's shared with Harrahs.

Good Luck and have fun.
Reply:Don't know where the imperial is exactly, but most cab rides in Vegas cost around $10. The airport is at one end of the strip, the MGM, Excaliber, Luxor and some others are basically right outside the airport.

How far is the walk between Imperial Palace and Mandalay Bay?

My friend and I are trying to decide if its too far of a walk from the Imperial Palace to Mandalay Bay. We like walking the strip and all, but we don't want to wear ourselves out before the spice girls concert! Any opinions? I looked on a map and it seems kinda far... I've been to vegas a lot and have walked the strip but I can't remember the distances and stuff we walked. We'd really liked to stay at the Imperial Palace tho cuz its cheapity cheap cheap.

How far is the walk between Imperial Palace and Mandalay Bay?
It is quite a walk. Remember the strip is 4 miles long.

Download the Vegas strip map from this link:

http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/get-aroun...

If you can't afford to take a bus, consider hopping on the hotels free shuttles that will drop you somewhere closer to your destination.

http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/free-shut...
Reply:Don't walk unless you're in for a real hike, it's just not the distance, it's the up and down going over the strip and back down. Take the tram or if you have a rental car just drive from hotel to hotel. I've done this lots of times, the parking is free!

For more info about getting around Las Vegas go to:

http://www.lasvegas-wow.com/getting-arou...
Reply:You got to walk to places, that's half the fun - just going down the strip. You should walk to the Excalibur and take the free tram to Mandalay, that's what we did. Mandalay Bay is awesome, one of my favorites.
Reply:It is about a 2 mile walk. Not only that, but the Mandalay Bay is on the other side of Las Vegas BLVD than from the IP. So not only will you need to walk 2 miles, but you will will need to walk over the overpasses. Even though there are escalators to take you to the top of the overpasses, the extra 5 mnutes it can take to get up the escalator, across the overpass, and down the escalator makes the walk just a bit worse. And you will have to do that twice.

If you decide to walk, you may want to make it to Excalibur and take the free tram to Mandalay Bay. And don't wear heels, unless you want to sit through the entire concert.

If you are trying to stay cheap, look at staying at the Tropicana. You can certainly make that walk, and if you sign up for their e-newsletter, they will send you excellent deals. I have gotten deals that are comparable to the IP.
Reply:Take the monorail from the Imperial Palace station to the MGM Grand station. Then cross over LV Blvd to the west side, and you can either walk or ride the tram from Excalibur to Mandalay Bay. Here's the map:

http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h...
Reply:It's too far to walk.
Reply:I wouldnt walk but the bus is 2.50 for a 24 hour bus pass! Id do that before Id walk! Its a little over a mile walk but its NOT a straight line lol. You have to go up and over LV Blvd TWICE! MB is almost about four or five block lengths from Trop and IP is about a mile from there.
Reply:Spice Girls concert.....?????? LOL I wouldn't admit that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:Its between a little less than a half mile, and a little more, come on now you cant be that out of shape, can you?
Reply:freaking far....take the bus
Reply:Spend the $15 to take a cab or take the 2 bus for $2.

Do not walk unless you are going to stop at least two other times before Mandalay Bay.
Reply:It would be a very long walk.
Reply:It's a ways... I'd say about 2 miles... You'd probably be better off taking the bus down there.
Reply:i dont know
