What is the best armor in oblivion eleder scrolls-not dadrick or imperial dragon armor?

Aside from Daedric armor Glass is the next best thing. The Imperial Dragon Armor sucks, the enchantment is terrible.

If you have the expansion you can also craft Madness Ore Armor and Amber Armor which is just a one step upgrade of Daedric and Glass.

Either way you'll want armor you enchant, it's better than anything you find. 100% Chameleon is probably the 'best' enchantment since it makes you effectively invincible but it also ruins the game by removing any challenge. I prefer damage reflect, spell reflect, spell absorbtion, damage absorbtion, fortify strength (boosts maximum carrying weight the most, better than feather), and fortify intelligence (more magicka = better spells).

You could also just enchant a set of clothes with nothing but "Shield" which ultimately yields about as much armor as a full set of glass or deadric but you don't have the bonus of having useful enchantments.

It depends on which type of armor you are using. If you are using light armor, then the strongest is glass. If you are using the heavy armor, then the strongest is daedric. BUT...I've found that building your own armor (enchanting it with the spells you want) is the best route. YOu can charm any piece of clothing or item with any spell for any specific purpose. Like fire resistance for flame atronachs, or frost resistance for frost atronachs. You can even enchant those items to boost your magica or health or just about anything.
Reply:Daedric armor is the best Heavy armor in the basic game.

Glass armor is the best Light armor.

With Knights of the Nine, the Crusader's armor is slightly better than Glass or Daedric (and it matches your skill, so if you have Light Armor skill, it become Light, and vice versa)

In Shivering Isles, Maddness Ore (Heavy) and Amber (Light) are slightly better than Daedric or Glass respectively.

If you are Master level in Heavy or Light armor, each set is essentially identical. Light armor mastery gives you the equivalent of Heavy armor protection if you wear all Light armor, and Heavy Armor mastery makes any armor you wear weightless.
Reply:Daedric is my favorite armor, self enchanted or a few of the named enchated armors that use it as a base. Crusaders armor from Knights of the Nine is pretty nice too. Glass is the best light armor if you don't want heavy armor. So go Crusaders if you want heavy, Glass if you want light.
