I can't get the clearance needed th get the belt over the clutch rod
How do i install the drive belt on an whirlpool imperial seventy washing machine?
Sounds like a job for the lonely, bored Maytag repairman!
Reply:This washer is too old to mess around with. The belt is difficult to replace and some have a heavy duty clutch that needs to be compressed and nobody has the tool for it.
Get a new one.
