Most have trans fats in them and that will clog your arteries and in turn, cause you to have a heart attack or a stroke.

This is a lengthy article but gives alot of good pointers about the kinds of fats and which ones we need and don't need.

And beware ~ trans fat is hidden in many of our foods (such as popcorn) so you want to read labels and be careful. All the additives in food today is one reason so many Americans are now suffering more and more from health issues that have run rampant.

Also beware of foods that have aspertame, saccharin and sucrose / sucralose. I have just recently researched some of these after having health problems for several years and was appalled at what I have learned. I wish I had known this back in the 80s, I could have avoided so many health problems the last 20 years.

Sucrose is so bad that Canada was smart enough to outlaw it's use in their foods. Not greedy America, though, where the LOVE of MONEY sure IS the root of all evil. Companies here don't care who they poison, just so they get the almighty dollar (which will burn in hell with them for their greedy ways)

And keep riding your bike to work and other places when you can. The exercise is good for you and you have less chance of your arteries clogging up but still watch what you eat :)
Reply:I don't know of any "butter" in a tub, but if you're looking for a spread, or margarine (like Imperial is), I would suggest country Crock - get the one with added calcium. I have compared all the popular brands, and Country Crock with Calcium has the lowest cholesterol and saturated fat, and the highest monounsaturated fat, so it's the best overall for heart health.
Reply:I am a fan of Country Crock Spreadable Butter with Canola Oil - excellent flavor. I take it out of the fridge when preparing a meal so that is has time to soften by the time we eat.
Reply:Anchor or Fernleaf semi-soft butter from New Zealand. Available most countries
Reply:Land-o-lakes salted or unsalted butter. Its great
Reply:There is a difference between margarine and butter. Any butter from New Zealand is the best. Pure and creamy with that true buttery taste.
Reply:Land O' Lakes is my favorite :)
