How do you lower your bounty for the imperial city in Oblivion?
There are three ways to lower you bounty. The first way is to pay it off by choosing the "Pay Fines" option when a guard confronts you. The second way to get rid of your bounty is to serve your sentence by choosing "Go to Jail" when a guard confronts you. The last way is to tell Armand (in the Thieves' Guild) and he will settle it for half of your bounty.
