How do you get to a revolution, or even imperial age in a regular skirmish on Age of Empires three?
Im stuck at Industrial age i think, its not letting me upgrade anymore. Please help
How do you get to a revolution, or even imperial age in a regular skirmish on Age of Empires three?
you need to get 10000 gold and 18000 food and then go to the town centerafter you build atleast 2buildings in castle age and then click to go to the next age.
Reply:You should be able to get to age V in AOE III. It's strictly based on resources. Earlier versions of AOE required you to build certain buildings each age, but AOE III is entirely based on having sufficient resources.
Resources required (assuming you aren't starting in Nomad mode) are as follows (may vary slightly be civilization and improvements):
-800 food
-1200 food and 1000 gold
-2000 food and 1200 gold
-4000 food and 4000 gold (I believe)
In a player-vs-computer game, I rarely get to age V. I usually wipe the computer during age IV or am getting overrun so badly that I resign.

What is the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas like?
What are the good points and bad points to this hotel and casino? We are staying there in 2 weeks.
What is the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas like?
The good points is that it is cheap there is monorail service in the back, The rooms are ok for the price. It is right in the middle of all the action. There is club right in front that doesn't make you wait an hour to get in.
The bad points. It's one of the older casinos on the strip, the pool is not that good. The casino is small and smokey. The elevators are extremely slow (but there are some elevators in the back of the hotel that no one uses much which are much quicker)
You don't spend to much time in your room, I didnt' do to much gambling at the casino while I was there, just wasn't much fun for me and my friends. Good thing about it being in the middle of the strip you are close to a lot other casinos to gamble at and the outdoor attractions are not that far.
Reply:I personally like the Imperial Palace - I am kinda bummed that they are taking it down. It's a cheap room, but it is in a prime location. And the cost is not bad - Granted, I would not go there for some romantic getaway or anything - Imperial Palace is a great hotel for Girls or Guys trips to vegas where you are only going to need the room to sleep, shower and get ready - Plus they have balconies on each room and you get some crazy girls gone wild parties on the balconies! I love it!
Reply:We didn't stay there but next door at the Flamingo. The Imperial is perfectly sited in the heart of the strip and offers one of the best " budget" shows in Legends in Concert which is well worth seeing. The casino isn't great but if you go to Vegas to gamble i dare say you will want to go to loads of casinos not just the one in your own hotel. All in all its a cheap room in an ideal spot but i would question why anyone would want to go to Las Vegas for more than 3 or 4 days unless they are a professional gambler. If you havn't booked it already take a good look at escaping Las Vegas for at least a week and head off to the real USA and visit the Grand Canyon and somewhere like Flagstaff or Sedona in Arizona. Have a good trip.
Reply:Stayed there 3 times, it is very well situated on the strip great for the Monorail. Sure it is one of the older ones, BUT who goes to Las Vegas to sit in the room, it really is only a place to sleep. I found it clean and that is important. Have fun

How many imperial stormstroopers and officers were killed when the Death Star blew up in 1977?
I am researching the Battle of Yavin for my history exam. I am curious what was the death toll in the 1977 battle. How many were on the Death Star when it was blown up? Thank you
How many imperial stormstroopers and officers were killed when the Death Star blew up in 1977?
First of all the Death Star was not blown up by the Rebel Alliance but by the Bush Administration which had placed explosives within the star. It was done to give the empire a reason to invade the Dagobah system and secure the dilithium crystals. It was all a great conspiracy.

Nearly the entire complement of the Death Star, numbering at least 1,000,000 Imperial personnel and civilian contractors, 7 tie pilots (including Vader's wingmen) killed during the rebel assault
Reply:You deserve to get an A+ for that.
Reply:Even I as a caveman know Star Wars is not real, go to a library and look in the Military history section, for real wars...
Reply:More than we can bear to know.
Reply:best I can give you is that a few empirical officers survived the Battle of Yavin. If your going by the movie they don't even give you that, you might have to check the novelization of the movie.
Vin
PS no offense meant but shouldn't you base schoolwork on an ACTUAL battle????? peace.
Reply:All of them that were not in ships at the time LOL
Reply:History exam? for a science fiction story? you're kidding, right?
Reply:It takes more than a million people to operate the Death Star and there is room for over a billion people on board. There are always at least 1,161,293 Imperials stationed on the Death Star at any given time. The standard complement of personnel includes:
265,675 Station crew
52,276 gunners
607,360 troops
25,984 Stormtroopers
42,782 ship support staff
167,216 pilots and support crew
The station also carries:
7,200 starfighters
4 strike cruisers
3,600 assault shuttles
1,400 AT-ATs
1,400 AT-STs
1,860 drop ships.
a variable number of support, recon and assault droids
Tours on the Death Star last at least 180 days and usually much longer. Personnel are often in deep space without leave for months at a time, and since the location of the Death Star is always classified, contact with family or friends is strictly prohibited. This can make life on the Death Star very difficult. To ease the burden of this duty the station is outfitted with many civilian amenities. The general sector of each zone in the Death Star has a park, shopping centers and recreation areas that include restaurants, a cinema and fitness centers.
they also dont mention any independent contractors on board...
Reply:Not only were stormtroopers and officers killed in the explosion, but a number of civilian contractors were still present on the Death Star completing the construction program. The total death toll was huge, making it one of the worst crimes committed by the terrorists who style themselves as "The Rebellion".
Oh, and the battle didn't happen in 1977. It happened a Long Time Ago in a Galaxy Far Away.
Reply:The real question should be how many were killed when the second Death Star was destroyed. The first time it was destroyed it was totally operational meaning it was fully staffed with stormtroopers and officers. However, when the second one was destroyed it was still under construction. How many independent contractors were aboard? There is no way that the Imperial Army could have had enough resources to finish the Death Star. How many roofers and plumbers were aboard. That is the real question.
Reply:Their were 140419 killed out right One was on the toilet at the time so only got a head ache. Two just had light cuts and bruises......Did you know star wars is based on a true story.............. What a sap...

What were the standard equipment/weapons issued to soldiers in the Japanese Imperial Army during WWII?
Japans arsenal in ww11 was out of date with very few submachine guns to go around, the main armament was the arisaka 7.7 mm or 6.5 mm, it was a heavy slow firing bolt action rifle with a 5 mag capacity, it did not compare well with the automatic garands, tompsons and bars carried by the usa, nor did there tanks which were lightly armoured, poorly armed and badly suspended, easy prey for the shermans of the day, japans anti tank weapons consisted of satchel charges or a horrifying weapon which consisted of a length of bamboo, a charge on the end which the soldier would carry with the stick , place onto the side of a tank and he pulled a string which detonated the charge and disabled the tank and killed the soldier, haha, crazy but true, to list the rest of the weapons used would take pages but the common weapon carried was the arisaka. I would not wanted to fight in there army, they didnt have a chance!
And snowy is wrong about fighter superiority, they were off the start of the war but british hurricanes, us p47 and 51s replace the out of date style they used at the outtake quickly and began knocking down jap zeroes at an astonishing rate!
What were the standard equipment/weapons issued to soldiers in the Japanese Imperial Army during WWII?
Cruelty, determination, blind obedience, physical fitness................oh yes and a 40 year old rifle, a copy of the bren gun, some tanks made out of baked bean cans, and sharp swords.
Their Navy had some of the largest ships afloat, and the airforce had a superb air superiority fighter called the Navy Type Zero (usually called the Zero).
Reply:Depends on the unit. the Standard rifle was a copy of the German mauser. A bolt action rifle that was highly accurate.
Reply:Not too many of those guys left to ask, so your guess is as good as mine. Probably a bowl and a pound of rice, a rifle and ammo.
Reply:i think its the ARISAKA rifle, with a sword bayonet, of course the katana sword too
